Getting out the message!
October 2019
Increasing ferry traffic, airport commercialization, and automation are all threats to a budget with maxed out revenue streams. A Business & Occupation tax that follows a Lake Forest Park and Shoreline model would allow us to effectively exempt small businesses while reaping the fiscal benefits of growth.
Getting the most out of commerce, technology, and our natural resources is who we are, it is what we do and it is what makes Mukilteo, Mukilteo. We build planes then we go hiking; we automate away negative deltas and then we go kayaking. Updating our tax code to align with the opportunities and challenges of the commerce and technology of today carries on the tradition that has made Mukilteo what it is.
On to the General!

Ecstatic to have finished in second place in the Primary Election and to be moving on to the November 5th race for Mukilteo City Council.
I am proud to have put economic justice on the ballot and look forward to eleven more weeks of talking to voters. Check out my Comprehensive Plan under the 'Vision' page of this website to see what this campaign is fighting for!

I believe Mukilteo deserves a City Council that is not ideologically or politically driven. I am an independent, critical thinker with education in business and policy, and experience in analysis, who is focused on equitable, long-term solutions.
I am running because the equitable distribution and security of our prosperity are not guaranteed.
I believe we can maximize the opportunities of economic growth while preserving the quality of Mukilteo, and I can help get us there.
I am proud to bring economic justice, public safety, and preserving the quality of Mukilteo to the floor and ballot.
